Frontback update adds tap-to-focus, image flipping and lets you ‘explore’ without an account

fb1 horz 730x539 Frontback update adds tap to focus, image flipping and lets you explore without an accountFrontback, the increasingly popular dual-sided photo app for iOS, has added tap-to-focus and photo flipping features, in response to feedback, while it has removed the need to register to test out the service.

The latter change is a little misleading, since you’ll need to register to save and share your first photo — as I found out — but you can at least play around with this two-sided take on photo apps without committing your life and soul to a username.

The new camera features help take better photos when close up, in low light, high contrast or other conditions, and allow photos to be flipped to their mirror image — which is useful when they include text that’s initially back to front.

And, yes of course, the app now supports iOS 7 like a bazillion others that are pushing out updates today.
